And so we completed the tier-12's normal raid. Nothing too difficult, but not something that you can steam-roll through. Just like all the past raids, as soon as we cleared the encounter once, it's cake from there.

So next step will be heroic encounters and this is where I hope we can have a breakthrough. All the past tiers of raid, we always slowed down or stopped after we cleared the normal mode (except for ToC), be it due to real life events/other commitments or just simply losing steam. This time round, perhaps we can aim further, see how far we can get. Let's keep the spirits up and the loots coming in.

Didn't manage to get all killshots, but I promised to get them all for the heroic kills. On a side-note, Icy-Veins has a pretty concise write-up on all the heroic encounters. If you guys want to know what are the differences between the normal and heroic modes, that will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. Until my next long post, I hope I will be decked out in heroic gears by then.

Okays, first.. I have removed that crazy WALL of text from our blog because of the following reasons:

1. Blog censorship. Be reminded that this is a public blog and there were certain names of guilds and players in the posts that if searched would link to our blog and we won't want to attract unneccessary attention do we? Trust me, I've tried googling and our blog popped up. So yea.. shuo wei, jia chuo bu ke wai yang? ISSIT? sry for the shiety tiongish but you guys get the idea.

2. I personally think that this is not the best way to resolve this matter. You guys can continue the posts and there would probably not be a conclusive solution in the end. And to make matters worse, it might cause unintended hurt to parties involved. Words mean very different things when they are heard instead of read.

3. I have saved all conversations so far as drafts in the dashboard if you guys need any references. but do please refrain from posting new ones so we can sort this out with a FRIENDS meetup instead of a text readup.

So yea, all that being said? Anyone for dinner tml???? Let's meet up as the old friends that we are, and settle this, talk it out as plain old friends, and not guild mates or dps competitors or whatever shit that is, i feel, totally unnecessary.
We having known each other for centuries now, should be very sure or each other's characteristics and temper. So let us all calm down and take a step back in this matter. I believe that nobody is without fault. Some more, some less.. but we are all to blame in one way or another, even those who kept hush about it (looking at you Mr 372 weapon =b)

So yea, how about we find a place to chill tml for dinner. somewhere without beer bottles or movable furniture so it does not end up in a bloodbath ^.^

Today, we picked up where we left off and achieved our first milestone in Cataclysm; killing Cho'gall.

Now

Though it's still not something impressive, it serves as a morale booster for us and hopefully we can ride on this momentum and go on to clear both Nefarian and Al'Akir. I do believe that we have yet to reach our full potential and there is still much for us to improve on. With regards to that, people have been giving constructive opinions and the recipient are taking them in with an open mind as well. This is something that is encouraging to see: guildies improving and pushing each other on.
With 4.1 poking it's head out from the distance, let us clear the 1st tier of Cataclysm raid before it hits, shall we?

Virtual Insanity Progression

We downed 4 more bosses this week! Good work everyone. With that we have 7 boss to farm every week so we can look forward to gearing up. Unfortunately I was focusing too much on raiding that I forgot to record the videos except for Conclave of Winds for you all to see me zuo bo-ing at my platform. Hehe so enjoy the vid.



P.S. I think I can only make it for raiding on Sunday afternoon onwards next week as I am working on Saturday.

Updates

Updated the blog to include the armoury links to the characters on the guild rooster by the side

Tentative raiding plan is to do Baradin's Hold on Sunday evening when everyone including Nas gets back, so keep that night free if you can.

Raid setup:
2 tanks, 2 heals, 6 dps


Boss attacks:
Frontal cone damage 200000k spread out throughout targets and places fire resist debuff (Meteor slash) (similar to auriaya)

Magical dot on 3 random raid members (Consuming Darkness)

At 33% and 66%, will channel a firestorm that places fire on ground (Fel Firestorm)


Fight Mechanics:
Split into 2 groups of 1 tank, 1 heal and 3 dps each.

Stand at different sides of the boss.

One group will take Meteor Slash first.

After first Meteor Slash, other tank taunts the boss so the first group can wait for their debuff to drop while the second group takes the next Meteor Slash.

Rinse and repeat.

Healers to dispell magical debuff, Consuming Darkness

During Fel Firestorm phases, players to avoid standing in the obvious flames and remember to move back to original positions after the channeling phase.

5 minute enrage timer on 10 man normal which is an average of 10k dee-p ass for 6 dee-p ass-ers!
